Saved - Root KidMin Curriculum
Saved: Embracing the Power of Understanding your Salvation!
Introduce kids to the life-changing message of salvation in a way that goes beyond just knowing about it—they’ll experience it! "Saved" is a six-week Kidmin curriculum that walks children through the essentials of salvation, helping them understand what it truly means to be saved, how to know they’re saved, and the amazing benefits that come with it. Each week builds on the last, making salvation practical, powerful, and relevant in their everyday lives.
Mediation Verse: Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and our saved."
Softwares: Keynote (Apple slideshow software) or PowerPoint (PC or Mac). Also, Microsoft Word (or similar text editor). Powerpoint version coming soon.
SYLLABUS:
Week 1: The Choice
Journey through history to see how the choices of others set the stage for our greatest decision—accepting the free gift of salvation! This week, kids will explore the significance of their choice to say “yes” to Jesus, making it personal and impactful.
Week 2: Blessed Assurance
Help kids gain confidence in their faith with “Blessed Assurance.” They’ll dive into the truth that they can know for sure whether they’re saved, learning how salvation is solid, secure, and backed by God’s promises, bringing peace and confidence to their hearts.
Week 3: What is Part of Your Salvation
The biggest celebration of our Salvation is that the new life doesn't start when we arrive in heaven. It starts here! God has revealed through His Word what this overcoming, overwhelming, overabundant life Jesus came to provide for us is for us to enjoy and give away here in this earth!
Week 4: Walking in Excess
God didn't supply a little more than the unsaved have, not enough, almost enough, or just enough. God is an over-abundant God, and as we join His family, we recieve His over-abundance in every area! This week covers how God supplies three things in excess in the lives of every believer.
Week 5: Carrying Him in this Life
God never intended for us to live the supernatural life with our limited human insight or limited human abilities. No, instead, He went over and above and supplied what we would need to live supernaturally every day!
Week 6: God's Way to Receive it ALL
So, how do we earn all these great aspects of our Salvation? Nope. Wrong question. How can we get God to share these qualities in overwhelming quantities? Already failed, and you won't walk in it. So, what is the right way to think to move from our current experience to God's realities? That's what this week is about.
Perfect for guiding youth and elementary kids into a deeper understanding of salvation, “Saved” will help them stand firm in their faith, think with purpose, and embrace the amazing benefits that come with God’s gift of salvation.
